Brazil announces new policy on air pollution

Environment Minister Ricardo Salles will announce a new federal network to monitor air quality in Brazil at an official event with UN Environment to celebrate World Environment Day. 

In addition, UN Environment and the Pan American Health Organization, part of the World Health Organization, will launch the Breathe Life Campaign in Brazil. The campaign will work with local lawmakers, both UN agencies and also launch the publication "16 measures for air quality in cities: a call to action for health and environment".
