Electric scooter company decarbonizes its brand

Chinese electric two-wheeler brand, Yadea, has strengthened its commitment to environmental protection with the full decarbonization of its brand, products, and manufacturing.

The announcement comes shortly after Yadea received the first Product Carbon Labelling certificate in the electric vehicle industry, issued by the China Electronic Energy-Saving Technology Association.

Bangladesh celebrates World Environment Day 2022 with reforestation project

A project in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, has been launched to reforest a five-kilometre stretch of land.

The project launched just before World Environment Day 2022, known as ‘Project Green Cox’s Bazar’, has been launched by JCI Bangladesh.

Gaming company goes green

To celebrate World Environment Day 2022,  Razar, the gaming technology company has become the first company to launch a mouse that has an Ecology certification.

Razar launched two mice, The Basilisk V3 and DeathAdder Essential, that had UL Ecology certification.

WATCH: E-waste collection campaign, Romania

In the month leading up to World Environment Day, The Green Project has provided free collection of electronic waste and set up community drop-off points around Maramureș County. Through additional incentives, including a lottery, the company raised awareness on the importance of proper e-waste recycling and the need to adopt circular economy model.

Bangkok Governor collects rubbish and plants tree

On World Environment Day 2022, Chadchart Sittipunt, the new governor of Bangkok, collected rubbish from the Chao Phraya River and planted trees at Rama VIII Park.

Sittipunt also reaffirmed his election promise to plant 1 million trees over the next four years. More information here.
