World Rugby is doing its bit to tackle plastic pollution on World Environment Day.

The organization has drawn up its Environmental Sustainability Plan 2030 as part of its way forward.

The Green Sports Alliance  has used World Environment Day to announce the agenda and programming for the Green Sports Alliance Summit to be held between the 26 and 28 June. The summit is  a significant milestone in the advancement of sustainability within the sports and entertainment industry.

This year’s Summit, hosted at Climate Pledge Arena in partnership with Oak View Group, will gather international partners, industry leaders, and passionate advocates dedicated to driving positive environmental and social change. The full program will include solution sessions, workshops, roundtables and networking opportunities.
