Media Orientation Programme in support of ending plastic pollution to help media professionals and journalists understand the social economic and environmental impacts of plastics, assess potential of their contributions and identify ‘stories’ to effectively communicate the theme for the WED. Led by UNEP, UN agencies in India will be launching the "Plastics Literacy Kit" to commemorate the World Environment Day 2025. The Kit will be designed as a ready reckoner of actions that different stakeholders can take in support of beating plastic pollution.
