Organized by UNEP, the Tide Turners Train-the-Trainers event, held in Apia for World Environment Day 2025, aims to equip Pacific national focal points with the tools to implement the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge and scale community-driven action against plastic pollution. 

The two-day program also integrates themes of human rights, gender equity, and environmental law, culminating in a conservation activity such as tree planting.
