To encourage higher education institutions to drive awareness and action on plastic pollution and commit to sustainable practices at institutional and community levels. UNEP India and Delhi Technological University are co-hosting the Vice Chancellor’s Conclave under the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution”. This hybrid event will highlight the crucial role of universities in shaping sustainable behaviours and reducing plastic use both on and off campus. The Conclave will feature senior representatives from the Government of India, UNEP, and academic leaders from institutions such as SAU, IP University, IIT Delhi, Manipal University, and others. The event will showcase UNEP’s communication tools designed to engage youth and support the Mission LiFE initiative, promoting lifestyle changes.
