To commemorate World Environment Day 2025, the Panama Canal Authority, the Interinstitutional Commission of the Panama Canal Watershed (CICH), and the Hydro-Environmental Innovation and Technology Center (CITEC) will host a multi-stakeholder forum focused on water sustainability and governance in the Panama Canal Watershed. The event will include a keynote on climate variability and water governance, followed by a panel with experts from UNEP, civil society, and academia. The forum aims to strengthen dialogue among government institutions, local councils, youth networks, and international partners, highlighting policy solutions and community engagement for water sustainability in a changing climate.
