A media field trip will offer first-hand access to ingredients for a compelling story on how plastic pollution is being tackled in remote mountainous areas as part of a Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions project whose Secretariat is hosted by UNEP. The Centre for Sustainable Development NGO is leading the logistics of the field trip, which will include visits to Ayusai mountains where plastic pollution is being avoided, a plastic collection centre, and a plastic recycling facility.
