In commemoration of World Environment Day 2025, this official ceremony will spotlight the urgency of plastic pollution as a shared global challenge affecting all life on Earth. It will amplify diverse voices calling for collective action and highlight Korea’s efforts to combat plastic pollution and advance a circular economy, while fostering partnerships with the international community.

FUTURE GENERATION FORUM: Action for a Circular Generation

When: 4 June | 15:00–17:00 hrs KST
Location: ICC Jeju, Ocean View

This youth-led forum will feature inspiring voices from young environmental innovators in civil society and business, sharing ideas and insights to tackle plastic pollution and build a more circular future. It will also offer a platform for open dialogue between youth and environmental leaders on current efforts and the role of the governments and the international community in ending plastic pollution and achieving a circular economy.
